About World Bearing Association

This non-profit and unincorporated industrial association was founded in 2006 by three major regional bearing associations: the Japan Bearing Industry Association (JBIA), the American Bearing Manufacturers Association (ABMA) and, the Federation of European Bearing Manufacturers' Associations (FEBMA). Those three organizations to which major bearing companies in Japan, the United States, and Europe belong collaborate to promote the common, lawful interests of the world bearing industry, such as open economic engagement, sustainable development and the protection of legal rights.

In recent years, they have been focusing particularly on measures against counterfeit products, which is a serious issue on a global scale. The entire industry is working to create a healthy market through enlightenment and educational activities through the specific website and collaboration with governmental authorities and other governments around the world.
